Daniela Kam, a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 15 years, will facilitate your appointment with Mobile Hearing Solutions. Daniela had difficulty all her life with chronic ear infections resulting in hearing loss in her left ear. After being treated as a patient with MTENT, she no longer has chronic ear infections. Daniela Kam is a member of the Hearing loss Association of America and a hearing loop advocate for TN. She enjoys working with people and enjoys learning about the latest hearing technology and advancing her skills as a hearing health care professional.

Michael P. Petroka

Conducts Hearing and Screening Tests

Dr. Petroka joined Middle Tennessee Ear, Nose & Throat in August of 2012 after practicing in southern California for 8 years. He received his Doctorate of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University in 2012 and his Master of Arts from California State University of Los Angeles in 2004. He continues to attend seminars to stay current on the latest technology advancements in the hearing aid industry.

Sue Vavrock

Sue grew up in Alabama where she graduated from Auburn University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and in 1999 with her Master’s degree in Audiology. Sue graduated from A.T. Still University – Arizona School of Health Sciences with her Doctorate of Audiology degree in 2008. She enjoys scrapbooking, photography, cooking, spending time with her husband and 2 adorable kids, as well as spending time at the lake. War Eagle!

Aurora Phelps

Aurora graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1990 with her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and with her Master’s degree in Audiology in 1991. She enjoys reading, walking her Siberian Husky, and spending time with her husband and two active boys. Go Big Orange!

Vicki was born and raised in Brentwood, TN. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1993 with her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and with her Master’s degree in Audiology in 1995. She enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her husband and their cats.

Jeffrey A. Paffrath

Jeffrey A. Paffrath, M.D.

Dr. Paffrath joined Middle Tennessee Ear, Nose & Throat in 1999 and is the President of the practice. He earned his MD degree in 1989 at Jefferson Medical College in Pennsylvania and completed his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC in 1994. Dr. Paffrath served as Chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Medical Director/Same Day Surgery Unit of the Blanchfi eld Army Community Hospital at Fort Campbell, Kentucky until 1998 and practiced at Nashville ENT before joining MTENT more than 10 years ago. More recently, Dr. Paffrath has served as Chief, Department of Surgery, MTMC.

Paul E. Goco

Dr. Goco earned his MD degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed his residency at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 1997. In 1998, Dr. Goco completed a fellowship at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport and is a Fellow with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has been practicing in Murfreesboro since 2002.

George M. Converse

Dr. Converse earned his MD degree in 1996 from The University of Virginia School of Medicine. After completing his residency and surgical internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville in 2002, Dr. Converse practiced with Highland ENT Surgical Group in Bristol, Tennessee, until joining MTENT in 2004.

James O. Fordice

Dr. Fordice joined Middle Tennessee Ear, Nose & Throat in March of 2010 after practicing at St. Thomas Medical Group in Nashville. He earned his MD degree in 1991 from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where he also completed his internship and residency in 1997. He completed a fellowship in head and neck cancer surgery at University of TX, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in 1998. Dr. Fordice began his practice at Nashville Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic, which was subsequently merged with St. Thomas Medical Group.
